- Step 1: Choose a time you think would be the most suitable hour to make the deduction over the weeks leading up to Christmas. The day before the Christmas holidays is often a good time or early in the new year may work better for your company.
- Step 2: Tell all your colleagues about Children’s Hour. Put up the posters, send out the email, shout it out from the rooftops! It would be fantastic if everyone took part. Simply right-click on the following link and choose 'save link/target as...' to download our publicity pack, which includes a web banner, pay pledge and A4 poster. You can also fundraise for a specific project in your area. Call Linda or Therese on 01 676 6535.
- Step 3: Photocopy and circulate the Pay Pledge form. Click here to download the form, asking your colleagues how much they would like to contribute. The form is also available in email format.
- Step 4: Ask your employer to consider making a company donation, perhaps to match the contribution of staff. If you need help doing this we can send you a presentation that will give more information on the work we do. Email therese@iyf.ie to receive one. Equally we would love to come in and meet you and your management team
- Step 5: The deductions can be made by payroll. Once the collection or deductions have been made, lodge the total amount at any AIB bank, send us a cheque or postal order or make an online payment by credit card by going to Donate Now.
You can also include our Children's Hour banner on your website to show your support.
